Basic duties and responsibilities

  • Identified, picked and sorted fruit according to size, type and ripeness
  • Checked fruits of different sizes and types and removed rotting and over ripened fruit
  • Measured and packed high-quality fruits into boxes and loaded those boxes into the trucks.
  • Received, counted, labeled and stored inventory of items as required.
  • Operated and maintained various equipment for harvesting fruits and other related tasks.
  • Cleaned and tidied job site and maintained a sage workplace.

Basic requirement to be eligible to work



  • Watching gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
  • Operation and Control – Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
  • Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Good communication skills with coworker and other staffs
  • Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
  • Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
